Pancalieri mint, cultivated near our distillery, is internationally recognized as one of the world’s best mints and was chosen to give Mintis Gin its unique smell and taste.
The word “Amarena” refers to a specific variety of dark wild cherries from Italy, adored by Italians and foodies everywhere for their intense cherry flavor. We proudly use Amarena cherries grown in Pecetto, close to our distillery.
Italian-grown clementines are a cross between bitter oranges and mandarins, resulting in a juicy, fragrant, and rich taste.
We use hand picked wild juniper berries from Tuscany which grow in higher elevations. Italian juniper is smaller but more rich and fruity in flavor, perfect for Mintis.
Sun-ripened black and shiny berries from the best terroirs are budding with fragrance in July, at the time of harvest. Renowned for its deep color, they help bring a powerful aroma to Mintis Ribesa.
For distinctive aroma and taste, we also use other local botanicals like coriander, sage, rose petals, orange peels, lemon peels, pink grapefruit peels, raspberries, and more.

successful spirits.
Mintis Gin is distilled in a custom-made vacuum-still for 8 hours at 60 degrees.
This
unique
approach
uses much lower temperatures than traditional methods, preserving the gin’s aromatic and
fresh
flavor
with lower environmental impact.
Every bottle is signed by our Maestro distillatore,
guaranteeing its hand-made quality.
